About OneKorea

Mission Statement:

OneKorea aims to provide comprehensive perspectives and promote dialogue about current issues surrounding the Korean peninsula.

Who We Are:

In August 2010 a group of 9 students from Wellesley College & Boston University flew to South Korea to volunteer with North Korean defectors. The Ministry of Unification heard that we were coming and invited us to work as Overseas Correspondents, or foreign counterparts to the Korean college student reporters who work for the MOU, to report on issues relating to North Korea and unification.

Our team members come from all different academic and personal backgrounds for the sole purpose of providing comprehensive perspectives and promoting dialogue about current issues surrounding the Korean peninsula. Together, we hope for a peaceful unification of the two Koreas someday.

Currently, the third generation of Overseas Correspondents are actively contributing to OneKorea.
